Our client is a small but very dynamic producing oil company with an exceptional track record of success and rapid growth. Operating in several parts of the world they are well financed and poised for incremental production and profitability.
* Key Member of management team reporting to Deputy CEO
* Group (global oversight) for Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering activities
* Global travel to group's exploration, development and producing assets.
* Project approval, steering and budgetary sign-off
* Multi-disciplinary team management, responsible for maturing exploration and new business opportunities.
* Staff recruitment , training issues and appraisals
* Development of Groups petroleum engineering directives and procedures including audits of same.
* Recommendations, approval and roll-out of engineering studies, (field-performance optimization, development reviews, well tests, field economics and forecasting)
Requirements
Clearly we are looking for candidates with an extensive (operator) background in Petroleum engineering, leading a technical team with decision making authority. Likely to be have progressed from a hands on technical role through to a Petroleum Engineering manager. Candidates will have broad international experience, covering different reservoir types & depletion scenarios both on-shore and off-shore with the sensitivities required to work in different cultural environments.
Fluency in Norwegian is essential.
