Inspector Engineering

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: B.S. Engineering. Three (3) years of direct inspection training or experience in the relevant inspection discipline.
Experience: Required: 11 years minimum. Must have 1.5 years experience as Saudi Aramco Inspector I or 11 years industrial experience including 6 years inspection experience in the discipline in which the incumbent is to work. Must have successfully completed courses, job tasks and other requirements specified in the Department s Job Training Standard for Inspector - Engineering position entry for the assigned inspection discipline. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have a valid Saudi driver s license. Must have good vision (20/20 normal or corrected) and be in good physical condition. Must be willing to work at high elevations and in confined spaces.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Certified as Welding Inspector from AWS or CSWIP or Equivalent
Candidate with API-510 pressure Vessel Inspection Certification is preferred. Experience in Risk Based Assessment & Fitness-for-service Applications. Able to function as a mentor in training and development of assistant Inspector. Monitor nondestructive testing examination results to determine defects, corrosion, mechanical damage and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Perform all type of required inspection related to pressure vessel and piping inspection to ensure safe and reliable operation. Perform all tests and inspections of equipment/piping that has been repaired or modified to assure that the equipment meets the required codes and specifications.
