The role will be reporting to the Procurement Manager SD (Supply & Distribution) & B2B (Business to Business) for Cluster 1 (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Phillipines & North Pacific Islands). The incumbent will be involved with all procurement of goods and services for SD & B2B (SD, B2B - Marine, Aviation, Bitumen, Chemical & Commercial Fuels) of more than USD 50,000. When there is an increase in activity and spend in the future, we will be recruiting another Procurement Executive to support the business.
Job Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the achievement of global procurement value improvement targets for Downstream and ensure that the maximum benefit is derived from the strategic procurement of Downstream spend by giving support to the Procurement Manager in the acquisition and contract management for certain categories of goods and services in the cluster;
* Support the Procurement Managers, in developing their category strategies and contracts within the cluster; as well as judging quotations;
* Manage local tenders in accordance with Category management rules and process; and place Request For Quotation and Purchase Orders not covered by an Outline Agreement, having a value more than USD 50,000;
* Where activity not already undertaken by Buyer, ensure management of eVITA tracking tool for Procurement Value Improvement and support Vendor Management system for major spend areas, according to Requisition to Pay and Streamline guidelines;
* Support the Procurement Managers communicating with vendors and stakeholders (in Line of Business) and obtaining information required by the Global Category Managers.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in any field;
* Minimum 3 years' experience for experienced candidates in related field;
* Good interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skill;
* Willing to learn and enjoy new challenges;
* Able to work independently as well as in a team;
* Strong analytical skills;
* Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Internet Explorer and IT tools in general;
* Authorisation to work in Indonesia is required for this position.
