OXY Libya, LLC invites applications for the post of a Technical Systems Analyst at our Tripoli offices.

Oxy is a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, the 10th largest oil and gas company in the world. Oxy has had interests in the exploration and production of oil in Libya since 1965.

The position of Technical Systems Analyst requires basic qualifications as described below. Interested and qualified individuals may submit their CV via email to oxy_libya_stg@oxy.com by April 14th.
Duties/Uraian Lowongan Migas :

1. Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of the following products:
* Linux and Microsoft Server and Workstation operating systems
* Landmark, Schlumberger and other common vendors for oil & gas applications used for exploration, engineering, facilities planning and operations
* Oracle and Microsoft databases
2. Respond to end-user trouble tickets to diagnose and remedy problems as needed
3. System administration for Linux systems and Oracle databases
4. Perform tape backup and restoration of systems and storage devices as defined by IT policies
5. Perform upgrades to operating systems, databases and applications as required

Experience
Applicant must have a minimum of one to two years working experience with the following applications:

* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Landmark G&G applications (OpenWorks, OpenWells, iWells, SeisWorks, GeoProbe and GeoGraphix)
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Schlumberger applications (Petrel, Merak PEEP and Eclipse)

Applicant must have a minimum of one to two years experience with the following operating systems:

* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Linux operating Systems.
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows operating Systems

Additional experience with the following technologies is a benefit:

* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle Database Server and clients
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL 2000 Server
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of ThinAnywhere Server
