BG Libya is part of BG Group, and currently has a number of vacancies for key disciplines for our office in Tripoli.
HSSE Advisor
Reporting to the HSSE Manager, you will ideally have some experience with
all aspects of HSSE management and, although experience within the oil and
gas industry is preferred, candidates with strong experience of HSSE outside
of the industry will be considered. The role requires the ability to manage
the health, safety, security and environmental aspects of all ongoing activities
ranging from the day-to-day operations in the office setting through
to field operations including seismic and drilling.
Commercial Manager/Analyst
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for on-going
commercial activities and new business development within Libya. The
successful candidate should be commercially astute in both oil and gas chain
business matters but a strong background in a related technical or business
role may be considered. A prerequisite is a good understanding of economics
and cash flow modelling as applied in the upstream oil and gas business. The
job requires a clear thinking, self starter to define and implement strategies.
The individual would also need to be comfortable working as a team member
within their function or leading a project as business needs dictate.
HR Manager/Officer
You will be responsible for all HR activities relating to all employees within
BG Libya. The successful candidate will maintain HR files and records as part
of the global SAP system and ensure the recruitment and training and
development needs of all employees is completed in line with legislative
requirements. You will need strong IT and organisational skills as well
as an interest in people development. An accreditation to a relevant HR
Professional Body is desirable.
Executive Secretary/PA
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for general
administrative needs within the GM’s department including managing
schedules, document preparation and filing. Strong IT and organisational
skills are required as well as previous experience in a similar role.
Administration Assistant
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for general
administrative tasks within the administration department including
managing schedules, document preparation and filing. Strong IT and
organisational skills are required.
Driver
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be one of a team of pool
drivers who will be required to transfer BG Libya personnel and visitors in
and around Tripoli. You should be qualified and trained in defensive driving
techniques and have held a clean driving license for a minimum of 5 years.
Engagement in administrative duties will be required, in addition to a strong
willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
