Overview:

My retained client is a Public Limited Company (PLC) that was established earlier in the 21st Century. The company has been funded by private placement as well as funds from the Dubai International Financial Exchange. Major Share holders are made up of large corporations as well as private investors and are mainly from Saudi and UAE. The company has the strength, agility and focus to develop a competitive position from a base in an emirate which is rich with promise and potential.

Job Specification:

* The position requires good communication and organisational skills and the candidate should have the ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision. While reporting through the Exploration Group's structure, the position involves working closely with all geosciences teams in exploration, appraisal and asset development, liaising with the technology group in Dubai.
* The candidate should be a very strong technical geophysicist with a strong practical knowledge of modern seismic processing techniques in both time and depth domains.
* Reporting results and communicating the consequences back to the business.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

* Strong seismic interpretation and mapping of exploration acreage, including regional reviews and prospect specific work. Interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data.
* Supervision of processing of 2D and 3D seismic and of PreStack Depth Migration projects.
* Solicitation and evaluation of seismic acquisition and processing bids, on and offshore.
* Experience with dataroom evaluations to quickly assess prospectively and value for both exploratory and development prospects.
* Solid geological knowledge to integrate geophysical interpretation with geology.
* Knowledge of and experience with quantitative interpretation methods for lithology, porosity and hydrocarbon prediction. Self sufficient with a variety of PC and Unix work stations.
* Prepare concise technical summaries with recommendations for company action. Ability to collaborate with geologists and engineers to maximise sub-surface value.

* Strong communicator both written and verbal
* Minimum 10-12 years direct experience
* Ability to present to senior level/ board members
* Ability to work on own as well as part of team
* Hard working and ambitious

We are currently investing significant resources in upgrading our Geelong Refinery. We are also looking for a highly motivated Emergency Response Officer to join the team at Geelong.

Responsibilities:

As part of the Emergency Response team you will be taking a leading role in a team trained to extinguish fires and respond to first aid situations. The position also involves working in confined spaces, lifting, climbing and working at heights. The position routinely maintains the refinery's response and safety systems and supports the operations of the refinery.


Requirements/Syarat Lowongan Kerja:

Your previous experience will demonstrate your strong commitment to safety, an ability to identify problems, implement solutions and to assimilate technical information. You will also have well-developed communication skills, initiative and be a team player.



You will have recent work experience in a technical or mechanical role in a manufacturing or similar industry, a sound understanding of industrial safety and emergency response procedures. Advanced fire and relevant first aid training and work experience in these areas would be advantageous. You also possess unwavering commitment to safety, environmental performance, teamwork and to our core values of honesty, integrity and respect.
