The D&C Manager is responsible for the management of team of National and International staff to plan and deliver the Company’s China's drilling and completions operations. This position is responsible and accountable to develop and enhance team's capabilities to provide appropriate level of support to the Company’s development plans in China and other opportunities as they develop.
Key responsibilities include:
*
Provides overall oversight of China drilling and completions projects from initial concept to program completion.
*
Delivers the Company’s China's drilling, completions and well testing program in line with documented well objectives.
*
Manages a capital spend of $ 300 million/year.
*
Develops effective communication links with all members of the project teams including the geology and geophysics staff, management team and technical staff, the reservoir engineering team, the engineering & facilities team and production personnel.
*
Hires the appropriate team of deepwater/ offshore/ international experts to augment existing China staff to provide capabilities to most effectively design and execute drilling and completion projects. Additionally creates plan to train, mentor and develop the Company’s national D&C staff.
*
Determines China well license and regulatory requirements and assures appropriate approvals are obtained and operations are conducted in compliance with requirements.
*
Manages preparation of drilling & completions cost estimates and inputs drilling & completions schedules into the overall project schedule.
*
Manages team to effectively design and program wells to deliver best value for the Company as well as provide appropriate level of operational integrity.
*
Assures Company expectations around operational integrity, worker health & safety and respect for the environment are included in all aspects of the operations.
*
Assigns and coordinates work assignments, and reviews work done by staff to ensure appropriate level of technical design, operational completeness and risk analysis.
*
Manages in-country drilling & completions operations teams and provides guidance and direction where necessary.
*
Oversees preparation of tender documents and evaluation of bids to select equipment and service providers in line with specific country requirements.
*
Manages development of operational/technical practices and procedures where necessary.
*
Provide input for planning of the shipment of well consumables and logistics for drilling projects.
*
Ensures end of well reports and invoice approvals follow Company procedures.
*
Assures program provides appropriate operational integrity and delivers Company expectations around worker health and safety as well as environmental stewardship.
Qualifications/ Experience:
The following skills, qualifications and experience are required:
*
Bachelor's Degree, in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with Master's Degree preferred.
*
A minimum of twenty (20) years of industry experience in Drilling & Completion, preferably in Asia with 10 years International offshore experience.
*
Member of a registered professional organization (PEng) and others as AAPG and SEG.
*
Extensive offshore deepwater drilling, completions and well testing technical and operational experience.
*
Experience in offshore rig commissioning and acceptance testing.
*
Proven success in finding oil & gas
*
Worked and lived overseas, preferably in SE Asia
*
Strong Decision-Making and Problem solving skills.
*
Strong competent leadership with succession ability to more senior positions
*
Demonstrated success in culturally sensitive environment
*
Proven ability to develop and lead teams.
*
Must possess communication, management and people skills in a multicultural environment.
*
Strong team-building and non-authorities leadership skills
*
Ability to work in a high project workload environment with intense activity periods.
*

Lubricants Business

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for carrying out sales/marketing initiatives;
* Develop/maintain business to achieve yearly sales targets;
* Manage customer relationships to ensure development of sustainable business in the steel sector;
* Resolve customer’s problems/issues (commercial, technical, etc.);
* Understand customer’s needs; sell product/service to meet customer’s needs;
* Deliver customer value proposition (CVP).
Requirements:
* University graduate, preferably from an engineering background;
* Possess related sales or technical experiences;
* A team worker, good communication skills & enjoys sales;
* Willing to travel frequently and is fully mobile;
* Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin, and/or local dialect(s) is essential for this position;
* Authorisation to work in China is required for this position.
