Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all vessels carrying Shell products are operating under Shell standards and Health, Safety, Security and Environmental guidelines;
* Develop and implement supply operations plan for Indonesia;
* Coordinate scheduling of vessels from Shell/non Shell terminals to other Shell/customer terminals in Indonesia;
* Ensure documentations for importation are ready on time;
* As appropriate, appoint third party for ensuring smooth documentation from MIGAS/Customs;
* Managing spot charter and term charter (as appropriate) contracts with shipowners, for supply-secondary distribution in Indonesia;
* Manage relationship with marketing customers to ensure shipping operations are run smoothly and efficiently;
* Supervising the customs clearing process so they are carried out efficiently and timely with the lowest cost and not breaking any Shell regulations.
Requirements:
* Graduated from Maritime Academy;
* Experienced in Shipping Industry;
* Preferable to have a supply operational role in an Oil company;
* Extensive network of people in Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut, Port Authorities, Shipowners, Shipping Agents, Customs and Customs agents is compulsory;
* Minimum of 10 years working experience in a Multinational Shipping Company/Oil Company;
* Based in Jakarta but extensive travelling in country especially to Merak, Gresik, PLN terminals and other customer terminals as appropriate;
* Authorisation to work in Indonesia is required for this position.
